New Westminster Crisis Response Project
The City of New Westminster has approved a two-year organizational pilot project and strategy to address the three crises of homelessness, mental health, and substance use. Project team members presented the project at a New Westminster Downtown Residents Association public meeting in the Spring.
The Residents Association will be hosting a follow-up presentation and Q&A with John Stark, Manager of Community Planning, Brad Davie, Deputy Fire Chief, and Nicole O’Connor, Manager, Homelessness Services about the progress of the project.
Join us at 7:00pm, Wednesday October 2, at the Holy Trinity Cathedral Hall, 514 Carnarvon St.
Attendance is free for NWDRA members (everyone on our mailing list) and for residents who live in Downtwown New Westminster. Everyone else is welcome to attend. We request a voluntary donation of $5.00 from non-residents to offset costs. (If you attend, you can join our maiing list and attend future meetings at no cost!)
